WELCOME TO THE HIKE CLUB LIBRARY WEB SITE The GVRHC Library was initially established to provide a repository for topographical maps, brochures, newspaper articles, historical summaries and other information that could be used by hike leaders in preparing for hikes they were scheduled to lead.  Selected items from the library that are pertinent to the various areas where the club hikes are being incorporated into the Club’s Library Web Site to make them more accessible to the general membership as well as the leaders. The web library is organized by categorizing the items by major subject areas (mountain range or special subject) and by sub subjects.  For example, to access information about the Kent Springs Center in Madera Canyon, it is categorized under Santa Rita (mountain range), Madera Canyon (Sub subject/area) and Kent Springs Center (specific item).
