Membership purchase
When purchasing a membership or making a donation, you are required to provide personal and billing information, such as your name, address, and credit card number. Your personal contact information and your billing information may to used to identify and contact you individually.
Media
If you upload images to the GVR Hiking Club’s Photo Gallery website, you should know that uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included will inform viewers of the location of the photo. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you log in to gvrhc.org, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. We use a remote firewall and scan engine supplied by Wordfence.com. We will not disclose or transfer your personal Information to any third party without your permission.

GVR Hiking Club’s information supplied to members by email is retained for a period of time. Email messages supplied by one member to another(s) using the website’s “Send Message” method are not retained and are private.
